Description:

Materials:

• Chunky weight 6 weight yarn (Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick)

• Crochet hook size H (6.5mm)

• Scissors

Notes:

 Measure your cup. Make enough chains for a snug fit around the cup.

Special Stitches:

•    Chain: Yarn over, pull through loop

•    Half Double Crochet: Yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through all 3 loops

•    Slip Stitch: Insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop and pull through the loop on hook

Pattern Instructions:

Make a slip knot with a 22” tail. Chain 20.
Row 1: Work a half double crochet in the third chain from the hook. Work a half double crochet in each stitch around. (19 hdc)
‍Row 2: Ch 2, turn. Work half double crochet in first stitch and each stitch around.

Repeat this row 2 more times. Leave a 22” tail. Chain 9 and attach to the other end of the rectangle. Use the beginning tail to chain 9 and attach to the opposite end. Weave in ends.
