Create Your Rectangle
Chain 21
Row 1:
Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and across (20 sc)
Rows 2–20:
Chain 1, turn.
Single crochet across (20 sc)
You now have a simple rectangle—this is the base of your pumpkin!
Form the Pumpkin
Fold your rectangle in half
Sew the side seam together to create a tube
Gather the other open end the same way and pull tight
Stuff It
Turn pumpkin right side out
Fill with fiberfill until nice and plump
Pull both gathered ends tightly and secure with a knot
Create the Pumpkin Shape
Use your yarn needle to wrap yarn from top to bottom
Pull slightly tight to create pumpkin “sections”
Repeat 4–6 times evenly around
This is what gives it that classic pumpkin look!
Add a cinnamon stick for the stem
