Create Your Rectangle

Chain 21

Row 1:
Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and across (20 sc)

Rows 2–20:
Chain 1, turn.
Single crochet across (20 sc)

You now have a simple rectangle—this is the base of your pumpkin!

Form the Pumpkin

  • Fold your rectangle in half

  • Sew the side seam together to create a tube

Gather the other open end the same way and pull tight

Stuff It

  • Turn pumpkin right side out

  • Fill with fiberfill until nice and plump

Pull both gathered ends tightly and secure with a knot

Create the Pumpkin Shape

  • Use your yarn needle to wrap yarn from top to bottom

  • Pull slightly tight to create pumpkin “sections”

  • Repeat 4–6 times evenly around

This is what gives it that classic pumpkin look!

Add a cinnamon stick for the stem
