Facial Scrubbies Pattern

Colorful crocheted facial rounds in a basket, along with a natural bristle facial brush and eucalyptus leaves.

Skill Level:  Easy

Materials: Cotton yarn, any color, 4 weight, 20 yards
4.25mm (Size G) Hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Stitch marker

Size: 3 ½ inches wide

Stitches:
Chain - ch
Half Double Crochet - hdc
Slip Stich – Sl St

Gauge: Gauge is not important for this pattern

Notes: This pattern is written in US terms. The chain 2 at the beginning of the rounds does not count as a stitch.

Instructions:

Make a slip knot, chain 3.
Round 1: Work 10 half double crochet into the first chain.  Join round with a slip stitch to the first half double crochet. (10 hdc)

Round 2: Chain 2, work 2 half double crochet in the first stitch and every stitch around.  Join with slip stitch into the first half double crochet. (20 hdc)

Round 3: Chain 2, work 2 half double crochet into the first stitch. Work 1 half double crochet in the next stitch. * Work 2 half double into the next stitch, work 1 half double in the next. Repeat from * around. ( 2,1,2,1,) etc. Join with slip stitch into the first half double crochet. (30 hdc)

Round 4: Chain 2, work 2 half double crochet in the first stitch. Work 1 double crochet into the next 2 stitches.  * Work 2 half double crochet in the next stitch, work 1 half double in the next  2 stitches. Repeat from * around. (2,1,1,2,1,1,) etc. Join with slip stitch into the first half double crochet. (40 hdc)

Cut your yarn, weave in ends.
